Five elephants, stars of Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey’s Circus, had “brunch” at Lexington Market this afternoon after marching up Eutaw Street under a crisp blue sky. They dined on bananas, lettuce and watermelons and were cheered by scores of excited spectators who crowded the market’s parking lot.

The elephants were joined by several circus clowns and an emcee in an effort to promote the “Dragons” circus show which runs through this weekend.
